
Dr. Perry Buffington is a prolific writer and author of numerous books, from academic works to a series of smart/fun reads. He most recently penned his first religiously-themed book, Christmas in Angel Land, a mystery, which features “Carson, the Little Professor.” He was the first featured guest expert on CNN’s Parenting Today and a popular guest on radio and television. He hosted his own radio show, The Dr. Buff Show, and was a syndicated columnist for Universal Press. He has written for the Saturday Evening Post, USA Today, Success, New Woman, and many others; as a contributing editor, he penned 195 consecutive monthly articles for Delta Airlines’ Sky Magazine; and wrote a fascinating anecdotal history of Atlanta for the 1996 Olympics. Known affectionately by his students as Dr. Buff, he is a licensed psychologist and faculty member at the University of Georgia.
“Fun” is Dr. Buffington’s middle name. Interesting, relatable, engaging, insightful, and entertaining are all adjectives that describe this author. His academic works (he wrote the textbook for his class at the university) along with his new smart/fun mystery series including, Christmas in Angel Land, are both knowledgeable reads and entertainment.
